Communities Coming Together to Fight Breast Cancer

The Breakfast Club

The Breakfast Club was formed by Kelli, Eileen and Vanessa in 2008. Our newest team member, Donna, joined us in 2009.
In the beginning, after training early in the morning, we were all starved so we decided to stop for breakfast. That day we unanimously voted to name our team “The Breakfast Club”. . . Well, we wanted a name that really conveyed something about our team and breakfast is a fun part of it!
This year we have been accompanied by some great friends (and potential team walkers); Lisa, Tava, Lori, Natasha and Porsche. Every year our team grows as does the donations to fight breast cancer. We are proud to say that we have raised nearly $10,000 in donations.
It is a wonderful feeling to be an integral part of such a noble and meaningful cause.

Support

You can support the effort to fight this disease in many ways. Joining a local community based effort is highly recommended. You can participate in the walks and runs or equally important, come to the events to be a crew member.

Involvement

We are thankful for our sponsors and their involvement toward helping us reach our goal. This dreaded disease has touched so many of us in so many ways. Most of us have known someone in our family or through a friend that has battled breast cancer.

Join the Fight Against Breast Cancer

How can I join the fight against breast cancer? We always welcome new walkers to join us in the 3-Day's. It is fun, a tremendous way to show your support, and don't forget, it is actually good for you to get out and walk! The other way is to donate directly on behalf of "The Breakfast Club" through the Susan G. Komen 3-Day site. Either way, every effort helps advance the research that can only be maintained through funding.

Our Sponsors are the fuel for our Commitment. Please patronize these generous businesses!
